dc.descriptionLa Pérouse Bay, May or June of 1986, from Mast River. The red building to the right is the kitchen, note the ladder to the roof. Researchers would use the ladder to seek refuge from bears. The quonset hut, the sleeping building, is behind the white building, note the bear fence.
