Photos of scientists for use in Wikipedia Editathons

Steacie Science and Engineering Library of York University has been holding an annual Ada Lovelace Day Wikipedia Editathon since 2015. We have observed that participants learning to become Wikipedians and experienced Wikipedians often have some difficulty finding Open Access photographs of scientists for their Wikipedia articles. The aim of this upload is to make a group of photos available in Yorkspace under a Creative Commons CC0 or Public Domain license, to increase accessibility to such photos. Photographs of scientists, Shohini Ghose, Marie Josee Fortin and Jeremy Kerr are in this mini-collection.
