Image of women in traditional Greek costume marching west on Queen Street holding a British flag. Caption reads: "Anniversary parade. Colourful costumes of their native land are worn by paraders from St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, Bond st., who marched to City Hall yseterday in the anniversary celebrations of Greek emancipation from Turkish rule. A band and many fraternal organizations took part. Wreath was laid at the City Hall Cenotaph by Greek Consul S.G. Rockanas."
